    1. Francis A & Margaret J Christopher Stone
    2. In the 1860s tjere were two belles were in Blount Co, AL. They were Sarah Elizabeth and Margaret J. Christopher. At some time just after the Civil War they seem to have met up with a couple of guys just out of the 28th Alabama Infantry. That was probably because their brother, NIMROD CHRISTOPHER, had also been in the 28th. Sarah married Wm P. Stone, known locally as Pittsford, per the 1866 census. Margaret married Francis A. Stone, his brother. 1870 finds both couples have moved to Boone and Searcy Cos, AR. 1880 the same, but in 1900, Francis and Margaret, their kids and Margaret's mother are in KAUFMAN CO, TX. Their mother's name is Eliza and she is shown as 83yrs of age in 1900. I am seeking their grave sites. I am guessing that they are in Kaufman Co TX. Anyone tie in with this family? Anyone know of a chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy there or near there? ron stone in CA
