[This is a duplicate of a reply I sent earlier to the Kaufman county mailing list. Since the GenConnect boards were re-organized, the messages posted here have been forwarded to the mailing list without the previous indication that they were from the message board rather than direct to the mailing list.] At any rate, Robert Norris asked: > Looking for help in deciphering names and dates shown > in W.K. Wilson bible posted on Kaufman website. Here's my attempt at deciphering the Wilson Bible record that is on the Kaufman GenWeb page-- Parents John Wilson 20 March 1788 Sep 24 1841 Ann Kiney Wilson 23 June 1792 July 17 [year missing] Georgy Children 1. Samuel F. Wilson 4 May 1806 2. Wiliam K. Wilson 3 May 1808 3. Ira L. Wilson 5 May 1810 4. Daniel S. Wilson 17 October 1812 5. Z. Rachal Wilson 13 Aprile 1815 6. Nancy J. Wilson 1 January 1817 7. James K. Wilson 20 September 1819 8. Alexander T. Wilson 4 febawarry 1822 9. John F. Wilson 20 May 1824 10. Bostick f. Wilson 24 November 1826 11. Mallisa [?] A. Wilson 6 January 1829 12. Emily K. Wilson 28 July 1830 13. Henderson P. Wilson 6 July 1836 William K. and Alexander T. Wilson eventually moved to Kaufman county from Nacogdoches co. They are both in the 1850 Census of Nacogdoches (online) as well as (I think) John F. and Henderson P. Ira L. *may* be in Cherokee co in 1850, listed in the online transcription as J.L. Wilson, but with the right age and likely birthplace. Another Wilson in the 1850 Nacogdoches census, who must be a cousin or some such, is Sanford T. Wilson. He also moved to Kaufman co. and married a sister-in-law of William K. Wilson. Justin M. Sanders Mobile, AL
