Texas Military College, a private primary school, high school, and junior college in Terrell, began operation in September 1915. The college was founded, owned, and presided over by Louis Clausiel Perry. Perry moved to Terrell, Texas, where, on September 21, he established and became president of Texas Military College. qv He also held the chair of philosophy and oratory at the institution until his death. Texas Military College operated in Terrell from 1914 to 1949.
