I wonder if they came to the attention of the local chamber of commerce when they came to town to make that movie? In about 1952, a movie company came to our neighborhood in Southeast Dallas (Urbandale/Parkdale) and made a movie using local kids. It was also about a girl who had been kidnapped. I remember even now my line, "Do you mean she's really been kidnapped?" I think our parents had to pay a fee for us to participate. I don't think it was a scam as I saw the film at least twice at our local theater. How I would love to have a copy of that film. I wouldn't know where to begin to find one if it exists. > > >==== TXKAUFMA Mailing List ==== >Do NOT forward any hoaxes to this list.
