Now i would like to find out when he and my grandmother got married, also when he died. In 1910 he was 41 years old. In 1930 my grandmother was listed as head of household. I never knew there were so many Kiser's, thought it was just us. I have searched and searched but i can't find any answer's, if anyone can help me i would be eternally grateful. Thanks!

I suspect he might be related to a family I am connected to: The following brothers: David Burnett Crumbaugh - Served in Buckner's Guards (KY) and Dobbins' 1st Arkansas Cavalry, CSA. From Scott County, KY, later moved to Bracken County, KY William Crumbaugh - lived in household of sister Orpha and her husband David Threlkeld in Phillips Co., Arkansas after Civil War. John H. Crumbaugh - lived in Georgetown, Scott County, KY. May have served in 5th or 9th KY cavalry, CSA A.H.G. Crumbaugh - lived in Georgetown, KY James Solomon Crumbaugh - moved to Terrell, TX, apparently died there but is buried in Georgetown, KY Thornton F.G. Crumbaugh - lived in Fort Worth, TX and died 5 Feb1888. I would also be interested in any information available on James Solomon and Thornton. Thanks Paul

My great grandfather was also named John A McKeller born 19 Feb 1839 AL. I still have not found out what the A stands for. I believe it to be Archibald or Abram. My great great grandfather Neill Mckeller was born some where between 1787 to 1800 in NC. In the 1840 census he was between the ages of 40 and 50. His ages on the 1850 census was 63 and and on the 1860 census was 64. So there is a good possibility that your John A and my Neill were brothers. My Neill married Sarah McInnis 5 Jan 1826 in Richmond Co NC. Most of my research on the McInnis family points to Richmond county so at some time the McKellers were there. I have some information on the McKellers in NC and would be willing to send it if you think it might help you. I think the more I try to figure it out the more confused I become. My McKeller family migrated from NC to Barbour County Al around 1835. Was wondering where your McKellar family came from. I have only a few names of my first McKeller family and have been trying to find the names of the other children or brothers and sisters of my Neill Mckeller born around 1700 in NC. I know that Neill married Sarah McInnis and the only children I have on them are Martha, John A, and Jincey. I am almost positive there are other children who either stayed in NC or migrated to some other place than Barbour county Al. I have not been able to find the names of any of Neill's brothers or sisters. I know this is a long shot but does any of this relate anyway to your McKellar family. Betty

Lived, died, and buried at Prairieville. BkK1-page180 Death book court house. Buried in unmarked grave, it said. Out of Kaufman Co. Death Abstracts 1903-1950 at the Kaufman County Library.........Newspaper didn't go back that far. Found a James Kyser was listed in Death Notices from Kaufman Sun Newspaper Jan. 26, 1883 James Kyser died at the Central Hotel tuesday of pneamonia. He left two little children, both girls, their mother having preceided their father to the grave. They have relatives in Parker County Tx. Sorry that is all I cound find.

Mon died as a result of the gunshot wound. John Bryant was charged with the shooting, and his examining trial was to be held 23 Jun 1917. Does anyone have any information regarding any sentencing of John Bryant?
