A man, who was possibly paid to do the deed, broke into their house in the middle of the night and bludgeoned Mr. Marsh to death and otherwise brutalized Mrs. Marsh and their five small children. I had alway's thought it was Hopkins Co. But.... I have had no luck. So I am trying the Counties from Rockwall and going East. Their names were William H. Collins And Clyde (Maiden name is unknown). From what I have found on the US census they were married around 1895. William H. was born about 1876 in Kentucky and Clyde was born about 1879 in Arkansas. In the 1900 census William was living at home with his parents, but listed as married for 5 years. I have not found Clyde in the 1900 census. William H's parents were Asberry Collins and Mary Jane Collins. Any information please email me here or at cama1209@msn.com

Boykin, jr. and was born to Ruby Heath Boykin and Calvin C. Boykin, sr. in Roswell on March 1, 1924. I have seen a few photos of people who I think are related in my grandmother's old photo album. My father as well as his younger brother (the only boys in this particular Boykin family) both served in WWII. I believe they moved from Roswell in about 1927 or so. My grandfather was in the hotel business in Roswell. Hope we come up with a connection. I haven't done much on Roswell. I am preparing to move, so my time to research is limited but if you really think we have a connection, I will see if I can locate the old photos.
