    1. Movie Made in Terrell sometime between 1942 and 47
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/FkB.2ACE/1526 Message Board Post: I would like someone to see if they can find a newpaper article about a movie that was made at Terrell, Texas sometime between 1942 and 1947. A movie company came to town and used local children to make a movie about a kid-napped girl. If I remember correctly a local banker's daughter played the lead. I was one of a gang of children that was searching for the girl. If you can find a newspaper article on the event, I would really appreciate it. The story went that when it was finished it would be broght back to Terrel for a showing. It was in the era of the kiddy movies, Shirley Temple etc. As and adult, I believe it was probably a scam, since they used all local children. But it is my closest claim to fame and I would like to have a clipping to show my children and grandchildre. Thanks for your help. Gwen

    1. Francis A & Margaret J Christopher Stone
    2. In the 1860s tjere were two belles were in Blount Co, AL. They were Sarah Elizabeth and Margaret J. Christopher. At some time just after the Civil War they seem to have met up with a couple of guys just out of the 28th Alabama Infantry. That was probably because their brother, NIMROD CHRISTOPHER, had also been in the 28th. Sarah married Wm P. Stone, known locally as Pittsford, per the 1866 census. Margaret married Francis A. Stone, his brother. 1870 finds both couples have moved to Boone and Searcy Cos, AR. 1880 the same, but in 1900, Francis and Margaret, their kids and Margaret's mother are in KAUFMAN CO, TX. Their mother's name is Eliza and she is shown as 83yrs of age in 1900. I am seeking their grave sites. I am guessing that they are in Kaufman Co TX. Anyone tie in with this family? Anyone know of a chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy there or near there? ron stone in CA
