He was buried in Fairlawn Cemetery, and his wife was named Gussie. The Sayre library has an obituary for this man. The obituary for the mother of Mrs. J Q Hoy, Grandmother White, states that the mother had come on a visit from Henderson Co., TX where she had removed from Beckham County after the death of her husband. Mrs. Hoy's brother and Mrs. White's son Bob White had driven her. Was there any relation between J F Hoy and John Q or John O Hoy? One can't help remembering that Gussie can be a nickname for Augusta.

On the 1900 Kaufman Co census (looks like Prairieville Precinct) are my ggpa's brother, wife and motherinlaw, per the subject line. In addition, the children at home are: Wm P 25 (for Pliney) (looks like he moved back to OK) Mary A 19 Simeon C 15 (also appears he had moved to OK as well) and Vera A 9 I suspect that they have descendants still around the county. I have found one descendant of Wm Pliney Stone who is now in Broken Arrow OK. Would like to find descendants of the others. Initlal object is to find grave sites for Francis and Margaret. Once that is accomplished, I want to see if there is room for a civil war grave monument for Francis. ron stone
