    1. Wills Point Baseball Team early 1900s
    2. My Aunt is looking for a picture of the Wills point Baseball Team in the early 1900s. Here is a list of the team members she can remember. She was 102 on July 16. but has a sharp mind. Wish I could remember so good. They had Kaki uniforms she says. Lon Allen was pitcher. Other member she can remember were Sterling Allen, Guy Boswell, ? Venable, ? Taylor, Lude Brackeen. If anyone has a picture of this team , she would love to have a copy of it. My Grandmo ther Minnie Maude Allen Brackeen had a picture but it disappeared after she passed in 1961. Mary Etta Brackeen Pitts is my aunt. She lives in Terrell, The Allen's and Brackeen were her uncles. Thanks to any one who can help. Wanda Blair Ruby

    3. The Kemp Cemetery was last Enumerated 15 years ago, with only a few additions made in 1998, so there are probably several burials there that are not on the Kaufman website for that cemetery. The cemetery will hopefully be re-enumerated (meaning the tombstones will be transcribed) in the next few months, when it is cooler. Until that time if you have additions, with photos to prove they exist, please contact me & we will add what we can to what we have on the website now as an adendum. It seems that Capel was on the outs with his father-in-law. instead of receiving anything from the estate, his wife's brother held her portion of the estate - so her husband couldn't touch her money. It seems that the rest of the family of that generation stayed in GA. I've not found any record except census for Pierce & Lewis. When Capel died, there were still minor children but I found nothing in the Kaufman Co. courthouse.

However, when I was inquiring about my great-grandfather with his Alma Mater (University of Louisville) the person who responded to me mentioned a couple of books. One is the DIRECTORY OF DECEASED AMERICAN PHYSICIANS, 1804-1929, it apparently lists the Medical School attended. The other is POLK'S MEDICAL AND SURGICAL DIRECTORY OF THE UNITED STATES, and will give the area the Doctor had his practice. Obviously, I can't guarantee success in finding your information but the books did list my relative who was practicing in a rather small town in Texas. Good Luck! Charmian
