William Riley Moore (W.R.)b 2/1/1888 d. 12/1/1944 and Mabel Moore b.6/29/1892 d.4/14/1962 and Virginia Lee Moore b.1918 d.1952 are buried in the Kemp Cemetery, Kaufman Co., TX. There are other Moores as well. My husband was there last week looking for Watkins relatives. I found our Watkins' names by doing a search and found this site: www.rootsweb.com/~txkaufma/cemeteries/kemp.htm There are also links to lots of Kaufman Co. cemeteries. There are also Threalkeld people there, Amelia, F.W., and Morris. I have a contact for someone who takes care of the cemetery records. If you check out the website, you'll also see a photo of the cemetery entrance. Our family was one of the founders of Kemp. Hope this helps! Wanda

It is unclear whether Mary's maiden name was Linton or Buxtom- the transcription from the College Mound cemetery shows her to be Linton. Do you know how the family ended up in Kaufman County? It looks like they moved there after 1870 which is very late in their lives. Another researcher has asked whether this was the same Hiram and marry that were in Madison Co, MO in 1870 with chidren Hiram and Cornelia (or Parmelia). Thanks for any additional information you can provide.
