They came to USA 1907, had a daughter Edith Ruth born 1909. They are in Beaumont for the 1910 census. By the time Edith was 4 years old her mother had died, and Edith was living in the home of a preacher A.S. McClamrock. Anton later signed over papers on Edith and the McClamrock's adopted Edith. She went by both last names. Family stories say Anton went back to Denmark, although the 1910 census indicated the were from Ireland.
