I saw your posting about Harry Choate. I do not know anything about HARRY Choate. However, I have been trying to locate ANYTHING about the Choates that I am researching. Perhaps you may know something about the Choates that can help with the one I am looking for. He is a bit elusive (Aren't they all!?) but here is what I have: Descendants of ? Choate Generation No. 1 1. ?1 CHOATE He married MATTIE MAE WINTERS, daughter of THOMAS WINTERS and NORA MCINTYRE. She was born Abt. 1892. I wish I had more. But Mattie married a second time to James Madison Johnson. Their daughter Nellie Johnson was born September 08, 1911 in Noble, Sabine County, Louisiana. Do you have a CHOATE who married a Mattie?
