Surnames: George, Kouklelis, Kelly Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/an/BkB.2ACE/923 Message Board Post: I have found a Nick George, who registered for the WW I draft in Sept. 12, 1918 in Port Arthur, Jefferson County, TX. His residence was listed as 803 10th St., Port Arthur (as best I can decipher the document). He was listed as 35 years old, and his wife's name was Mary. I think this could be my father-in-law, but need some additional proof. I know Nick was in Omaha, Nebraska in 1917 where his first son was born. He was in Dallas, TX in 1919 when his second son was born. But, I don't know where he was in 1918. I think it is possible he could have been in Texas and perhaps Port Arthur. Could someone please check the City Directory for 1918 for this couple? Are there children with them? Was there by any change some kind of county census? Any information will be appreciated to help me identify this Nick George as my father-in-law. Geri
