The Bellard family began with an Antoine or possibly Antoine Pierre Bellard, he came from Picardie France by way of Arcada, though I saw an Antoine Bellard, soldier somewheres when I first started researching, was it the same? Antoine m Marie Francois Gallard according to some information I have read. Will tell you though the dates didn't jive between that and the next generation unless the man was really old when he had the next Antoine who married Marie Fore; his son , Pierre Bellard m Denise (Dingle) Bourasses/Bulassa.
