    1. Needing obituary lookup for Pete OCHOA, please!
    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: Ochoa, Turner, Bargas, Whitson Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BkB.2ACE/829 Message Board Post: His name was Pete Ochoa and he was a school teacher or administrator for many years, I think in either the Port Arthur, Groves or Beaumont independent school district. His wife was Ruby Lee Turner and she predeceasaed him. They had four children: Anita Bargas ( married name), Lydia whitson ( married name),James Philip Ochoa, PhD and Virginia Ochoa. Those would have been my second cousins. Pete died in Jefferson County 1 Nov 1982. I don't know anymore than that. If there is a weekly newspaper for the entire Jefferson County, I think he might have an obituary in there. Because he apparently opted out of Social Security, I couldn't find him in those death records. Any assistance in finding his obituary would certainly be appreciated. Or perhaps finding the funeral home which would have handled the funeral would be nice, THANK YOU!

    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/BkB.2ACE/825.1.1 Message Board Post: Thanks very much for the reply to my original message. I believe I may have been a little unclear. I'm not looking for my parents, I'm looking for the listing of their residence in Beaumont, along with the Moore family who resided in the same apartment house on Hazel Street. My parents are both deceased now, and my search is for some member of the Moore family. I assume their son, who was a teen ager there in 1954-55 is probably still living. I'd like to find him so I can ask him about his father's employment, which will give me clues to trace my own father's employment, since they both worked for the same company. The Beaumont city directory listing for that Hazel Street apartment house may show Mr. Moore's given name as well as that of his son. Sorry that my original message wasn't clear about who I am looking for. Any further help will surely be appreciated. Tom Williams, Hixson, Tennessee.
