Grandfather should be listed as Reid. The listing appears to me as Brazil D. Reid, but it is indexed as Brigid D. Deis. His wife is Craig, born Craig Sturgis Nye in Nebraska, and their daughter is Jessie E. (Elizabeth) born in Louisiana. B E. Reid as we know him is listed as Bookkeeper at ?. I am unable to decipher the place he works. Can someone read this on a better copy of the census. Is there a way to correct the indexing? Is there a directory for Port Arthur in the years surrounding 1920?

    3. Jefferson list, Could someone please do an obituary look-up for Leta Cox? She was born in Texas 14 January 1891 and died December 1980.Her maiden name was Duke. She was married to my uncle William Robert Long in Bosque County 1911 and divorced in 1920 in Shasta County California. They had 2 children Johnnie Louise Long born in Texas 1913 and William Robert Long the third born in Shasta County California January 1916.Leta Cox had a daughter by Charles K. Cox in Lassan County,California in 1923-24. She married Charles K. Cox in 1923 Shasta County,Ca. and divorced him in 1926. Thank You, Bonnie
