I gave you the one that was closest to age give in 1930. I went back to the 1900 census and found several Joseph's born about 1887 who did not have a middle initial given in 1900. I found one Clemille, 4/1889 in Lafourche Parish who was the son of Taylor, 2/1867 and Louisa, 8/1871 siblings Ernest, 1893; Nelson, 1895; Dozilieu, 1898. I would say that it probably was the wrong man if you have family records to prove otherwise on the birth date. Paula

Did you get Joseph's death date from the Social Security Death Index? I'm wondering if it is the correct Joseph --will have to look for an obit next time I am in the area. The Joseph Clemile Landry I am looking for was born December 8, 1887. I think he might be the Joseph Landry who died January 5, 1955 in Port Neches but I can't be sure because I have not found an obituary for him although I have looked. The Estira and Clemile in the 1930 census are the correct ones.
