Hi. I just joined this list. I am hoping someone can help me with the family of HAMPTON STONE b. 2 Jun 1809 in Greenville, SC. He married Grace Kay of Anderson Dist, SC. They were listed in Anderson Dist. in the 1850 census. They had the following sons: JOEL STONE, BENJAMIN STONE, ALBERT NEWTON STONE, THOMAS MARSHALL STONE, EDWIN H.STONE, and STEPHEN K. STONE. Joel married Harriet Campbell, and had 2 children. He, Albert, and Thomas all served in CSA. In 1866 Hampton and Grace moved with their family to Jasper Co, TX, where he d. 11 Mar 1873.
