I am trying to find about about 2 families (Coopers/Sims) of Magnolia Springs, Texas. My grandmother was Lora Cooper born in 1895 - she died in approximately 1927. I know she is related to the coopers who own(ed) land in Magnolia Springs. My grandfather was Wilmer Sims (from Louisana) born 1880 - he died (supposedly in 1936) He worked with the railroad. I think they were married in Jasper County - in approx. 1917. Can anyone help me locate records on my grandparents or at least tell me where to start? (marriage records, deeds, or who they are related to)
