    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Surnames: DeHart Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AkB.2ACE/67.2 Message Board Post: Larry, sorry but I can't help you, but I'm hoping you can help me. I am the only one in my family interrested in family research at this time, but I would like to at least give my nephew a little info on his DeHart family. My mothers first husband was James Frances DeHart from Buna, Texas. They had 3 children, one of which was my brother James Jr. He was killed in 1986. That family seems to have blown all different directions. I don't think any of them keep in touch these days. James DeHart Sr.'s father was Rasb DeHart, I think. They show up in the 1920 Jasper Co. census and it says he was born abt. 1886 MS. Do you know anything about this family?

    3. There is a large and active Dehart list at [email protected] A search of their arvhives might turn up something. I have a Milinda DeHart who married a David Penn Taylor( yes, this the the family of William Penn, as in the founder of PA, Davids Grandfather and Pres. Zachary Taylor were the same, but different grandmothers) whos daughter Ellen married John Thomas Wood. Regretably all of this family is up in MO.
