Surnames: Debney Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AkB.2ACE/393 Message Board Post: The above named is my great uncle who emigrated to the USA on board the SS Philadelphia that left Southampton on 12th January 1907 arriving in New York on 20th January 1907. He was meeting his brother Alfred William Debney who resided in Jasper, Texas, no other detail than that. From my research it would appear that William was shot and killed by "mistake" in Jasper County some time in 1924. I was wondering if any other researcher has any information on this incident and whether he was married and left a family. Ronnie Sewell Balloch, Scotland.
