I went to the old Craig C. and did see the spot you mentioned. But that is my grgrandmothers grave. I Think Etta is Nancy E. Smith. Not for sure.. Rebecca is I think the wife of John Q. the brother of Homer. We may be kin somehow as I am kin to most of the old ones of Jasper. Williams, Deans Smiths, Sophia Ralph Lowes. I was in the home of Geraldine Primrose father abt. 2 yrs ago. I live in orange Tx. Thank you for the answer and the help, any help I can give you let me know. William >> Is it possible that the Homer M (1862-1942) is the son of John & Rebecca McFarlin Smith? Since he is buried next to Rebecca. John and Rebecca had a son - Homer born about 1862 according to the 1880 Jasper Census. More than likely with the name Homer M - he was named after both of John Smith's brothers - Homer and Miles. Thanks.
