    2. This is a Message Board Post that is gatewayed to this mailing list. Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/AkB.2ACE/406.1 Message Board Post: William, I was unable to find Richard and Etta Brown in a cemetery for Jasper County. However, I did find a Homer M. Smith buried in the Homer Cemetery west of Jasper in what used to be known as the Hoger area. The Post Office was changed in the 1900's. The death date does not match but be your own judge on it. Homer M. Smith born 1862 died 1942. He is buried beside a Mrs. Rebecca P. Smith age 73 yrs- no data. You did not ask for this but I also found an Elizabeth Smith, wife of Homer born 29 Mar 1833 died 1 Nov 1899 buried in the Craig Cemetery in Evadale. She was listed as being in a fenced lot with the following: Josephine Smith, dau. of H. born 10 April 1872 died 2 Sept 1890; Benjamen Smith born 2 April 1874 died 4 Feb 1914. There is also an old sunken grave between Elizabeth and Benjamen. Hope this helps you. Sorry I couldn't find Richard and Etta. They were also not listed in the Jasper Co. marriages. Linda
