Hello List- I am needing a obit on a ancester, Bernard M Risenhoover, he died in Jasper county, 1981 or so, I would love a obit. I called the library in Jasper and tey told me to contact the Jasper Historical Commission, Has any one went through them? Does it cost a lot to have them research?? Melodee, Let me try this again, I forgot to send it in plain text, it is almost impossible to read otherwise. He died 11 Feb 1978, according to the Texas Death Index. I recommend the use of the JCHC all the time and they are great. They don't charge too much mostly postage and a donation. Here is the phone number, 409-384-6441.
