I've emailed the clerk so much and she has provided me with so many records, she probably knows the line pretty well by now. I come through Herschel. My father is Duke. My father is in his 80's now. I just submitted my application to the Daughters of the Republic of Texas on the Glenn / Williams line and the county clerk was extremely helpful to me. I am working on supplemental lines now and just started getting documents for the Holmes line. I will ask my Dad about Ella and the Smith line.
