Greetings to you'all!! I have not posted the areas of interest in my research for a while, so here goes: My great grandfather is William K. Jackson, born (Possibly born abt. 1858?) and married to Harriet Amelia Wood, on May 9, 1878, in Jasper Texas. Someone sent me the census for 1880 and I believe it to be them. It showed Harriet at 17 yrs. and William at 22 years old. Thus, she may have been born about 1863. It also showed them with a one year old daughter, Sally V. I had a grand aunt named Vera, so maybe this is the same family. The same census also showed that William's parents and he himself were from Alabama. It showed that Harriet's mother was also from Alabama, and her father was from Georgia. Their children are: Tom Jackson Ethel (Jackson) Williams, married Estelle Williams and she worked for years for Missouri Pacific Railroad. Maude (Jackson) Frye, married James Frye Auba Jackson Vera (Jackson) And my grandfather, Ad Moses Jackson, b. January 7, 1888, in Colmesneil, TX. In the 1870 census for Tyler County, there was a Jackson family listed as: 1870 census and they are: Jon M. Jackson 50 M W b. Ala Martha Jackson 39 F W b. Ala Benjamin F. Jackson 06 M W b. Tex Martha W. Jackson 04 F W b. Tex Is anyone related to this family? If any of these names look familiar, please get in touch with me. I have many more names with the children, but not much on William and Harriet... Thanks, Linda
