It's home. And Magnolia Springs was where one of my grandmother's, Ruth Anna Mitchell Powell-Lewis, cousin's was from who came to live near the family in Kirbyville, Texas. Her name was Myrte Raspberry. I swear she was well over 80 or more when I first met her and I knew her for well over 25 years of my life. Also I went to High school at Kirbyville High School and one of my best friends was Willie Booker. One of his aunts was a school teacher at the local school. Can;t remember her first name but her last name was Booker. Also in Kirbyville, there were quite a few Bookers who had family relations to people from and around Magnolia Springs. Do you happen to know anything about the twin Booker boys, Alton and Alvin. They were abour 5-6 years older than me. Need any help with checking out any direct hands on info or photos. Just ask.
