Mary Beavers 2. Mary Chandler It was said by family that "Moses went back to Alabama." I found that to be a very odd story since I knew from census records he was born in TX. His parents were: Samuel Turner, born 1812 SC (parents/siblings unknown) Emily Midkiff, born 1818 TN (daughter of Isaac P Midkiff and Susanna Howell from Grainger Co, TN) Children of Samuel and Emily were: 1 Pleasant D Turner m. Sarah Jane Crawford 2. Mary Ann Elizabeth Turner m. William Crawford 3. Samuel Houston Turner m. Amanda C Franklin (my ggrandparents) 4. Emily Turner m. Thomas J West 5. Moses K Turner 6. Candace Perndis Turner, no other information 7. William Cecil Turner m. Emily Hemphill We had searched everywhere for Moses K Turner except TX due to the story of Al. Well! He was right in Trinity Co, TX all that time!
