He was discharged for disability at Pine Bluff, Ark. 9 Feb 1863. There had been an epidemic of pneumonia and typhoid at Camp Nelson that winter. William J. Peacock was discharged 24 May 1862 during the reorganization due to his age (54). He reenlisted 13 Jun 1863 after the law changed, and probably served the duration of the war. Neither of them show up on any of the casualty lists I have found.
