They are located in the old Jasper County Jail which sits on the south side of the courthouse square in downtown Jasper. They have several books which I believe will help you and the librarians there will more than happy to help you with your family. The hours there are Tuesday through Friday from 12 noon to 5 p.m. Phone number 409-384-6441. No email for the office.
