(MCG&HS, Inc.) proudly announces the fall seminar on November 18, 2000 to be given by the noted  Dr. George K. Schweitzer, Alumni Distinguished Professor at the University of Tennessee, holds the MS, and PhD in Chemistry, the MA in History of Religion, the PHD in History of Science, and the ScD (Doctor of Science) in the Philosophy of Science. He is Phi Kappa and is listed in Who's Who in America. His hobby is the use of historical reenactment as a method teaching genealogy, and tracing the ancestries of his grandchildren. He has authored over 220 public including 19 genealogical research guidebooks. Professor Schweitzer has lectured at over 400 universities and over 200 genealogical and historical societies in United States, Canada, England, and Germany. Dr. George K. Schweitzer will give two sessions on  Migration Routes and Settlement Patterns in frontier costume and one session on Georgia Genealogical Research techniques in colonial costume. There will be time at the end of the seminar for questions and answers. This is a great opportunity to hear a nationally acclaimed speaker right in our own area.
