    2. JEAN WATTS PACE
    3. Hi, Juanita, Hope you are doing better. I have found Jerry Delaney's father, John W. Delaney, in East Carrol Parish, La., where he died in 1831-32.. As soon as I can put my hands on the records here in my office, I will send you the correct date and information on other records found in his succession file. No a lot, but two minor children, Jeremiah and a daughter, are mention, as well as Charles H. Delaney and James Delaney. Also listed as a relative is a Theophilus C. Delaney. Doesn't say what relationship is, but Charles H. did name one of his sons Theophilus C., so it's must be a pretty close relationship. Perhaps he could have been another son, or a brother of John W. This information certainly agrees with the name of Jerry and Rebeca's first child, John Wesley Delaney. All of this will be in an upcoming issue of the newsletter. Talk later, Jean -----Original Message----- From: jdmillar <[email protected]> To: [email protected] <[email protected]> Date: Saturday, September 15, 2001 5:22 PM Subject: [TXJASPER] Jerry Delaney >Hello. 3. Hi, Juanita, Hope you are doing better. I found something on Jeremiah Delaney in East Carrol Parish, LA. This is the first time I have ever paid a genealogist to do research for me. I found the name of his father and his father's succession (probate) record. John W. Delaney died 1831-32 ( I will have to find the info to make sure of the date. Listed as minor children were Jeremiah Delaney and a daughter. Also listed were a son Charles H. Delaney of LA and James Delaney of Livingston Co., KY. Some of the records he sent had to do with doctor's bills just before he died and some receipt for children's shoes. I can't put my hands on it right now, but we do plan on using it in the newsletter when we start Thomas' and Susan's children. The next issue (Vol. 2 # 2) will cover all of the information we have found in South Carolina and we will start with their children in Vol. 2 # 3. Everyone has been very patient with us. We have tried to do this in an orderly fashion, starting with the earlier marriages and moving forward. Dianne is Dist Rep for Dist. 4 in DRT and also working on her Masters in Library Science, so with her teaching, she is really very busy. Talk to you later. 1. [TXJASPER] John Tilman Taylor
    2. Looking for information on John Tilman Taylor born March 29, 1839 in Alabama, date of death was December 13, 1935 and is buried in Friendship Cemetery, Kirbyville, TX.  His wife is listed as Marthie V., born December 18, 1853 in Alabama and is buried in Friendship Cemetery, Kirbyville, TX.  Children are listed as Nitie Francis, Ida Rosetta Ann, Jennie Aurelia, Callie Sophronia, Johnathon Eugene, Emmet Daniel Cassie, Ollie Devado, Ettie Luvernia, Mary Ethel Josephine, and Travis Columbus.  All children thought to have been born in TX.  Known counties associated with this Taylor family are Jasper, Newton, Tyler, Panola, Karnes, and Leon. I would love to know what Marthie V. 's maiden name was and where they were married.  I "think" Johnathon Eugene was married to Rosie Irene and they lived in Orange County, TX.  Callie Sophronia was my great grandmother and is buried in Karnes County, TX. Any help with more infor on any of these would be greatly appreciated. Theresa Parker Bellville, TX
