Lester was called to his Father’s house. Brother Lester was born 22 January 1835, was married to Miss Virginia Morris, 29 November 1857. Of this union six children were born, two having preceded father and mother, four are now living. Brother Lester was baptized into the fellowship of the Missionary Baptist Church at Billington, Texas, afterward moved his membership to Dameron, Jack County, having lived a consecrated Christian life. He leaves four sons – B.W. Lester of Rush Springs, OK; G.A. Lester of Mont Calm, TX; O.J. and J.B. Lester of Jacksboro, number of grandchildren. He was buried at Pleasant Hill, Jack County.
