Lookups for land records is one of the most time consuming parts of research in counties. Marriage records are fairly easy from 1856-1890. Death records are sketchy at best until the 1930s. The obituaries in the Jacksboro Gazette give some help, but one must remember that obituaries in the Jacksboro Gazette were considered to be "classified ads" until the 1950s.
