Collins passed over to the silent majority 7 January 1902 and was laid to rest in Wesley Chapel cemetery with Rev. Higgins officiating. Mrs. Collins was a consistent member of the Primitive Baptist Church, and waited patiently through all her sufferings for the Master’s Call to enter the city not made with hands. She leaves husband and five daughters and a number of grandchildren.
