Paul Smith was right on how to get to Hicks Cemetery, when you turn off the pavement on to the dirt road you will go to the first cattle guard on the south side of the road (about 1mile from the pavement or your right) at this cattle guard or gate you will see a house about 100-200 feet to the east on the same side of the road, If the gate is locked go to this house and ask for the key, you need to tell them why you wont to go to the cemetery. After you get thru the gate you will go about 1/4 mile and find that the road will go to the left to an oil well.DO NOT GO TO THE LEFT go straight looking close for a road.(yes there is a road) as you follow the road it will curve to the right, cross a small creek, up a small hill and on top of the hill is the cemetery.
