He probably arrived in Jack County,TX in about 1875 with his wife, Susana and his 3 children; Harry, Eva, and Willis. This family was included in the 1880 Federal Census for Jack County. At that time, there were 3 more children; Charles, Mattie and Fanny. John C. Warden, brother of Thomas, was also living with them in 1880. Rumor has it that Thomas was a lay minister for the Church of Christ and performed many marriages in Jack County. Was preaching his profession? Where in the County did this family reside? When and where did Thomas and Susana die? What happened to the children?
