Pope, who has lived here for many years, died at his home just south of the Frisco depot, Wednesday. Funeral conducted by Rev. C.B. Garrett, pastor of the Methodist church of which he was a member. Interment in Oakwood cemetery. “Uncle Charley” as Mr. Pope was affectionately known was about 80 years of age, and had been a resident here for many years. He had no near relatives.
