I would like to hear from both of you to see what you have found out & I l am going to copy both of your messages because my cousin is Bob Middleton from Gibtown (Whitt, that area). This is really ironic. I just went to Bob's oldest child's wedding this evening & Bob brought up Wash (Washington?) & I think he said he was his grandfather (??? - can't really remember). But Bob knows tons of stuff. His mother is Ola & I can't remember his father's name off hand. They have lived out here forever. Where do you all live? Both Whitt & Gibtown have an annual reunion, so I am sure there are people there who could do look ups for you. In fact, I have the book published by the Whitt cemetery association which has tried to list all the headstone info (the onces which can be read). They have done an excellent job.
