Mollie E. Murray m. Christopher Columbus Ainsworth (aka C.C. Ainsworth) on Aug. 25, 1888 in Jack Co., TX. In 1900 Census, Young Co., TX. C. C. was married to Mattie B. (thought to be Blevins). Son W M March 1900 2/12 S Texas Texas Texas As you can see, C C. was born in Alabama, Mattie B. age 19 at the time of the Census was born in Texas. Lenora ( my great-grandmother), Joab, Grover C., and Martha A. were born in Ohio. Lenora is 9 years younger than Mattie so she couldn't possibly be her mother. Lela and Charles were born in Texas, Lela age 1 year and Charlie B. age 2 1/2 months. I believe that the first four children listed are the children of Mollie Murray and CC Ainsworth, and the last to children are the children of Mattie B. and CC Ainsworth. I suspected that Mollie died in Ohio (probably in child birth) but could find no record to support my theory. Although, I have all the information on the Ainsworth line, I have no information on the Murray line. Do you know who Mollie's parents are? Is she in your line? Any information regarding this matter would be very much appreciated. Oh, I also have the listing from Hawkins Funeral Home records (online).
