A Joseph Fowler had a daughter named Mary b.1818 who had a daughter named Martha b.1841 that married a Dave Brown. It might be your connection. Mary had a brother named Hiram who was killed in the Indian raids in 1860 around Jacksboro. I have a copy of the Jack County cemetaries and will look for your grandmother.
