    1. Re: [TXJack] Jack County Newspaper Abstracts
    2. Hi Everyone, I have a suggestion. How about letting the list admin, Dorman, and I do some thinking and visiting about all this. Bet we can come up with something....<g>. In the mean time we probably need to get the list back to genealogy. Anyone want to say something about your biggest brick wall in Jack Co. Perhaps someone can help. Since both my father's and mother's lines came through Jack Co., I have several brick walls there. But, will start with this one..... Samuel Clark - b. abt 1814 in Ohio. I still have not been able to locate his d. date and all I know is that he is supposed to have been buried in Jack Co.. He is in the 1880 census of Jack Co., living with the O. M. Melton family. That census is dated JUNE 17, 1880. Then I have a letter written by him dated Aug. 17, 1880. That is the last info. I have on him. Samuel was a Baptist minister and helped form churches in Jack, Parker, and other North Texas counties. Anyone know where Samuel might be and when he died????? Thanks and take care - Emma
