    2. Dorman, I am so very sorry that you have received complaints and letters concerning your postings. I was really enjoying them and was hoping you might find something on my family names. So I anxiously read each and every message. I can't imagine anyone complaining about someone going to all this work and time and effort and being nice enough to provide information for others to use. And... by the way, if the complaints were the messages coming through the gateway to the list from the message board we might be able to solve that problem. I am the admin for the Jack Co., Texas message board. I can talk to the list admin for this list and we can talk about closing the gateway. That way the messages to the board would not hit the list. Take care and again, sorry. 3. This is so upsetting.... Dorman helped me get my Aunt her parents marriage certificate and he helped me get my Grandparents marriage certificate. I love all the posts he does. He works so hard to help everyone. Who ever complained you should be ashamed. 3. Hello Emma, Please correct me if I am mistaken, but I'm under the impression that the purpose of this list is the free exchange of genealogical information. And, Dorman's posting fall in that catagory. If you close the gateway to them, won't you be defeating the purpose of the list for all of us? The people who are complaining can always unsubscribe and eliminate the problem they see with the postings. But, if the gateway is closed to Dorman's extractions: 1. the rest of us won't get them. 2. they will not be searchable at rootsweb for future research. 3. a few people will defeat the purpose of the list. Please consider these things before making your decision. Thank you, Betty Hollie Henderson, TX

    3. Hello, again, Dorman, Please do not let a bunch of "complainers" cause you to stop doing a wonderful service for Jack Co. researchers. Your work is vital and very welcome to this list. I am certain that we can come up with more than 1 encouraging email for every 1 complaining email. If that will help, let me know and I'll head the campaign! Thank you for all the work you've done for all of us!!! Betty Hollie Henderson, TX
