Mrs. DeSpain had lived at Bryson only 15 years and the earlier part of her life at Sherman. Six of her grandsons were the pallbearers. Burton Springs people who attended the funeral were: Mr. And Mrs. W.T. Helvey, R. O. Helvey, Ed Rankin, G.M. Helvey, Mesdames. Will Covington, Cora Folley, Alice Holm, Lilly DeSpain, Messrs. Joe Rankin, Jim Rankin, T.J. DeSpain, Louis Kanka, S.H. DeSpain, Lloyd Helvey and Floyd Helvey.
