Mrs. Farmer is one of Jacksboro’s most charming and accomplished young ladies and Mr. Farmer is president of the string of business colleges located in a number of towns known as National Business College. They will make their home in Fort Worth.

Mabry. She was a good Christian woman and was a member of the Presbyterian church at the time of her death. She was very active in Red Cross and Liberty Loan drives. Her husband and six children survive. The remains were laid to rest in the Perrin cemetery.

Among the 71 guests was Mrs. Shaw and daughter from Southland, on the Plains. This lady is a niece of Mrs. Frank Porter. Miss Ola Stephens took a Kodak picture of the assembly. B.M. Elliott was born 17 December 1845. Miss Tilitha C. Hatley who became his wife was born 25 February 1843. They were married 26 July 1866. To this union were born six sons and two daughters. All but two sons are still living. One single son, one married son, also a grandson and a great-granddaughter still remain under the old rooftree. There are a host of grandchildren. Mr. Elliott has spent his life on the frontier and we have heard him say that he liked the old ways of doing things best.
