Surnames: Holt, Bailey, Woodward Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HlB.2ACI/1033 Message Board Post: Nancy Woodward Holt worked as a laundress in Jacksboro in 1870. She was a widow and had three sons living with her as well as a boarder named Joseph Bailey who said he was a barber. She was 42 years old and Joseph was 29. By 1880, she and Joseph were married, and the three sons (now grown) were living with them. Nancy died 2 June 1885. Joseph remarried a Mrs. H. C. Belvill in January 1886. Can anyone tell me about Joseph and Nancy's marriage sometime between 1870 and 1880? Can anyone tell me where Nancy might be buried? Can anyone tell me if there is an alternate copy of the 1880 census because the right hand part of page 2 is torn and I am desparate to find out where Nancy said her parents were born? Thanks, Bill Woodward
