Also anyone with old pictures of the area, please share with me, as I would love to have 'old' pictures on the pages also. They do not have to be of places, but can be of people or things. Not that I have information that will help you a great lot, rather questions that you and I may be able to dig into. And here's why. There were 3 persons in my ancestry, named COX, who in 1843 were in probate court, and were awarded guardianship to some Martin men. This was in Livingston County, Mo, which is not too far removed from Randolph Co. These three, as were written down were. Malinda Cox chose as her guardian, one William Martin, Sr. This was signed by both William Martin and Thomas I. Martin. Their brother, Samuel W.Cox chose as his guardian, Thomas S. Cox Nancy, being a minor, had apoiinted as her's George W. Martin. George W. Martin was a Justice of the Peace in the year 1843, there in Livingston Co.MO. I need to know if the mother of these children was a "Martin" Perhaps a sister of these men, due to their choice of guardians. The father of these children was Zachariah Cox b.25 Jan, 1798 VA. d. 14 Oct 1843, Orange Co.IN The Cox familys migrated to Jack Co. in 1876 by wagon train. I don't know what happened to the girls, who they married, etc. I would very much like to know the connection with Martins and Cox in Mo. I suspect they all went to Jack County together, or shortly thereafter. I would appreciate anything that anyone has to offer. Wanda Haines
