Lenora ( my great-grandmother), Joab, Grover C., and Martha A. were born in Ohio. Lenora is 9 years younger than Mattie so she couldn't possibly be her mother. Lela and Charles were born in Texas, Lela age 1 year and Charlie B. age 2 1/2 months. I believe that the first four children listed are the children of Mollie Murray and CC Ainsworth, and the last to children are the children of Mattie B. and CC Ainsworth. I suspected that Mollie died in Ohio (probably in child birth) but could find no record to support my theory. Although, I have all the information on the Ainsworth line, I have no information on the Murray line. Do you know who Mollie's parents are? Is she in your line? Any information regarding this matter would be very much appreciated. Oh, I also have the listing from Hawkins Funeral Home records (online). Karen, After looking in my copy of Jack Co. Cemeteries by Paul Smith, I only find the following Spann family members: Spann, Iva Gertrude born 1895, died1904, buried in Fairview Cemetery Spann, Betty Ethel born Aug 20, 1884, died Jan 23, 1912 buried in Fairview Cem. I also looked for Raymond Cecil Spann under the spelling of Span, but not listed that way either. Maybe some one with the book by Jack Loftin will be better able to provide you the info you seek. I know there are books available for Cemeteries in Jack Co. although I don't own any. I was hoping someone has a few spare minutes and would be kind enough to look up a name for me. His name is Raymond Cecil Spann. I don't know in which cemetery he is supposedly buried and would appreciate your kind help. Thank you so much, Karen
Well Folks, I think it is called a "Senior Moment", I must correct the statement I made on the last post for (MARRIAGE BOOK #4- 1890-1900) I said there were no listing for the year 1900, Well There Are Many of them! Very Sorry for the Confusion, See our connections to Jack County on our page. Lois and All, I Want to clarify on the Marriage Records Books, (Book #4 1890- 1900) this is not correct, the dates go through 1899 ONLY, there are no marriage records listed for 1900. Sorry, I was dissappointed too! Many Thanks to all who have contributed to the Jack Co TX page, and to Lois for working so hard on it, The Page looks Great. Happy Hunting, Elnora Frances Cook-Wyrick
Thanks to Lois, Paul Smith, and Dorman Holub for making available the wonderful funeral home records! Janie Parrish (BURCH, PRINGLE, STALEY, FIELD)

There is a listing in the Antelope Cemetary for John A. Crossman, b. 1889-1977. My great-great grandfather was John A. Crossman who lived in Antelope in the 1880-1890's. This is not he, but who? My great grandfather was Robert Warren Crossman who had a brother named Spencer H. Crossman and a sister named Mary A. Crossman. If you know anything about these kin, please let me know. My grandmother was Bessie Wilmeth Crossman Darnell. _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
