John, aka Jack, Good(w)in, b. Sept 1845 Ala., died in Grayson Co, Tx on March 15, 1914. At time of death, he and his wife, Rebecka J. Goodin (Jenny) resided in Jack Co., post office Squaw; previous residence in Jacksboro, Antelope Route. Some adult children were living in Texas, some in the area of Bryan Co, Ok. I would appreciate a cemetery/obituary lookup if anyone has access to these records. Thank you, -pam

Branum of Jack Co TX. Who was this Henry L. Brannon? Wm H. Branum's son, Henry Lee Branum, was living in Collingsworth Co TX and is enumerated there on the 1920 census with his wife, Nellie (Love) and their known children: Lena, Norman, and Otis. A Joseph Fowler had a daughter named Mary b.1818 who had a daughter named Martha b.1841 that married a Dave Brown. It might be your connection. Mary had a brother named Hiram who was killed in the Indian raids in 1860 around Jacksboro. I have a copy of the Jack County cemetaries and will look for your grandmother. E-mail me and I'll give you the name and adreess on how to get a copy of complete cemetary record for Jack,Archer Clay, Young and Montague county.
