Surnames: Gage, Brown, Fowler Classification: Query Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/HlB.2ACI/1114 Message Board Post: On the 1870 census for Jacksboro Texas it shows a Mary Brown age 19 living with Annie Gage age 42. Other members in the house are Johnathan Gage age 14 Mary Gage age 12 ,Wylie Gage age 9 . Then under Mary Brown there is a child named Cynthia Brown age 9 months.Under Cynthia is a child named Pernetta Gage age 3. I am trying to find out if the Mary Brown age 19 is the same Mary Brown that I have found on the 1880 Washington County,Illinois Township Census. Is there anyone who may know about this Annie Gage Family. The Mary showing on the Jacksboro Census matches the age my Mary would have been.My Mother had told us that our Mary's maiden name was Fowler. Our Mary married a man named David Brown. Children of David and Mary on the 1880 Arankas Census Vernetta age 16 Cynthia age 11 matches what the Cynthia on the 1870 census would be Elvira age 6 my Great Grandmother Mortimore age 10 months In the Family the story is that our Mary was living with a Gage Family. Is there anyone who may be able to help me prove one way or the other if these Mary's on the 1870 Jacksboro and the 1880 Arkansas Census are the same person or not.Is there anyone who might know about these families. Any Help is appreciated Thank You
